Somatic therapy is a body-based approach to mental health. Unlike talk therapy, which focuses on thoughts and insights, somatic work helps you reconnect with physical sensations, release stored tension, and regulate your nervous system from the inside out.

You don’t have to relive every traumatic memory to heal. In fact, you may not even have words for what your body remembers—and that’s okay.

In somatic sessions, we use techniques like:

  • Grounding and resourcing

  • Tracking bodily sensations

  • Gentle movement or breathwork

  • Touch-based consent-based interventions (if desired)

The goal is to help your body feel safe, connected, and at ease—not just your mind.
