TARYNN DIER, LCSW

I've done the work. I'm still doing it.

I didn't grow up with the tools to understand myself. Like most people, I spent a lot of my early life in survival mode — following scripts that weren't mine, making choices that kept me safe but not fulfilled. It took getting to a breaking point to realize that the life I was living didn't match who I actually was.

So I did the work. Psychedelics. Somatic healing. IFS. EMDR. Years of active recovery and self-exploration. And here's what I learned: healing isn't a destination. It's a practice. Connection to self isn't something you achieve and then check off. It's the most important relationship you'll ever have — and like any relationship that matters, it requires you to show up every single day.

You wouldn't expect results at the gym if you only went once. You show up consistently because you're committed to your health and longevity. Mental health works the same way. The difference between people who transform and people who stay stuck isn't insight — it's commitment to the practice.

I'm still doing this work. Still learning. Still growing. And that's exactly why I can guide you through yours — because I know what it actually costs, and I know it's worth it.

What I bring to the work

I'm not detached from my own healing. I'm actively in it. That means:

I understand survival. I understand what it takes to unlearn patterns that kept you safe but no longer serve you. I understand the courage it takes to choose yourself.

I use IFS, somatic work, psychodynamic therapy, and attachment-based approaches — not because they're trendy, but because I've experienced their power in my own life.

I work with high-achieving adults, founders, queer people, and those in non-traditional relationships who are ready to stop performing and start being.

I'm warm but direct. I'll meet you where you are and challenge you to go further.
